N07ICE OF PROPOSED DECISION <br />The Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division has issued a proposed decision to <br />approve a technical revision to the mining and reclamation pl ans for the <br />Seneca II-W, Permit No. C-82-057, operated by Peabody Coal Co., Western Div., <br />under the provisions of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act of <br />1979. The proposed technical revision (TR - 10) was submitted by Peabody Coal <br />Co., Western Div., on January 17, 199T for the Seneca II-W. The affected area <br />is located in portions of Sections 10, 14, 15, 16, 21, 22 and 23; Township 5 <br />North, Range 85 West in Routt County. The mine is located approximately nine <br />miles south of the town of Hayden, Colorado. <br />The subject technical revision addresses modifications to the primary and <br />emergency spillways of Sediment Pond 006. <br />Copies of the proposed technical revision are available for review at the <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division office, 1313 Sherman Street, <br />Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203. Any person who has an interest which is or <br />may be adversely affected may request a formal hearing regarding this proposed <br />decision. Requests for a formal hearing must be made in writing within ten <br />(10) days of this publication and shall state with reasonable specificity the <br />reasons for the request and objections to the proposed decision. <br />1914G <br />
