AS'alr6or <br />i.e~ul„, o reur,r <br />~,~rh,r•I u. ~~ ~~ <br />Division Uin¢ Inr <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, Section 116, <br />Paragraph 4, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on June 30, 2000, an application to revise coal mining <br />operations a[ the Trapper Mine was considered complete for the purposes of filing. The revision was submitted by <br />Trapper Mining Inc. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Revelations initiate from this <br />date of filing. <br />The applicant proposes [o construct a sediment control pond on approximately 1.5 acres of land within the existing <br />mine permit area in the SW 1/4 NEI/4 Sec. 32, T6N, R90W. The location is approximately 4 miles south of Craig, <br />Colorado and is shown on the Castor Gulch 7.5 minute, USGS topographic quadrangle map. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public inspection at the Moffat County Courthouse, <br />221 W Victory Way, Craig, CO 81625, and at the Division office. For additional information or to provide <br />written comments, contact the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, <br />Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567. In order for us to comply with regulatory time frames, we request that <br />comments be submitted within fifteen (15) days of this letter.
