Division of Minerals 8 Geology
The following are TCC's responses to the concerns raised in the Division's letter of February 1,
2000. The item number requiring a response will be listed followed by TCC's response.
Item 1 -Page 3 has been corrected and the revised page is attached. TCC's acreage numbers
were used rather than the Division's due to the insignificant difference between the numbers.
Given that the Division's numbers were generated by digitizing Map 2 the differences are
reasonable, i.e. error associated with digitizing and paper stretch.
Item 21 -Page 2.05-179 has been revised by removing the typo referring to mining in 1887. A
copy of the revised page is attached.
Item 22a -Consultant has been contacted and TCC is awaiting receipt of the "As-Built". Once received it
will be forwarded to you.
Item 39 b) -The revised text on page 2.05.66 shows that the two sentences referenced in the Division's
letter were removed Gom the renewal materials. However, i[ was unclear that page 2.05116.1 was
eliminated from the materials and TCC is advising that this page be removed from the materials.
Therefore, it is clear that Map 24 does not imply that it presents topography.
Item 62 a) -The scale on the Pond Dotage/storage drawing submitted on January 25, 2000 is correct;
therefore, that drawing can be incorporated in the renewal application materials. The drawing was
checked in AutoCad 2000 to delennine if the scale was correct.
Item 62 d) - Pond E -Page 8 - 97 can be removed from the renewal materials and TCC has removed
reference to it in the Exhibit 8 table ofcontents.
Pond B -The certification is attached and can be inserted info Exhibit SF.
Pond D -The ccnification is attached and can be inserted into Exhibit 8H(1). It references both
Exhibits SH and 8H(1) in the certification.
Pond G -The certification is anached and can be inserted into Exhibit 8J.
