Dear Mr. Xarrison:
Our Division received the $37,800.00 corporate surety (Bond No. 040 24 26)
from the New Hampshire Insurance Company as replacement financial warranty
for the above-captioned operation. Z have reviewed this corporate surety
and find it to be properly executed with two minor exceptions.
The Legal description of this operation, as described in the mining and
reclamation permit, should be added as Exhibit A. This description would
be as follows:
"The W'~ of ws~ of NE's of Section,26, Township 2 North, Range 79 West of
6th P.M. and the E'~ of E~ of Nw''f of Section 26, Township 2 North,
Range 74 West of 6th P.M „ CostiIla Estates Survey so called, Costilla
County, Colorado."
If you find this legal description to be correct, with your written permission,
I will add it to the aforementioned corporate surety as "Exhibit A".
Since the operation name that appears on our permit is "Mesita Hill Pit",
I suggest that the addition of these words to the "Operation" blank on
page 1 of the corporate surety would add a measure of clarification to the
document. If you agree-with this, please give me your written permission
on this matter, as watt, and I will make the addition to the corporate
Stile ty.
A performance warranty must accompany the financial warranty under the
terms of our new Rule 7. This document is to be filled out by the operator
alone. It requires your notarized signature for Colorado Aggregate and
the addition of the aforementioned legal description as "Exhibit A", I
have enclosed a copy of this performance warranty form for your use.
