CO. 80203 <br />Division of M;nerals d Gepl o9Y <br />-DO/ <br />RE: Technical Revision; Midwestern Aggregates, Inc.; DMG Permit No. M-93-059 <br />Dear Mr Schriener: <br />On behalf of Midwestern Aggregates we are submitting a Technical Revision of their <br />mining permit #M-93-059. <br />EXHIBIT C & D <br />This Technical Revision involves the reducing the number of mining phases to four. The <br />new Mining Plan will not change the total acreage of disturbance in any way. Anew <br />Exhibit C -Pre-Mining/Mining Plan has been included with the adjustment. <br />The operator has also opted to use a suction type dredge instead of a clam shell type <br />dredge. The mining and processing rate will not be adjusted due to this change. <br />Enclosed is a schematic drawing of the suction dredge. The basic difference in these two <br />types of dredges is the operator will use a suction hose instead of a scoop to lift the <br />material to be processed. In addition, the material to processed will be transported by <br />pipeline instead of a conveyor to the screening area. <br />EXHIBIT E & F <br />The final Reclamation Plan has also been altered slightly. Several of the smaller ponds in <br />the middle of the property have been combined into two lakes.
