Box 1430, Palisade, <br />Colorado 81526, was deemed complete for the purposes of filing. All reviews <br />and comment periods as provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated <br />thereunder initiate from this day of filing. <br />The applicant proposes to revise underground coal mining operations at the <br />Roadside and Cameo Mines. The technical revision would reduce the cover <br />requirement on refuse disposal areas as a result of field trials at the <br />Roadside Refuse Disposal Area. <br />The permit area is located approximately three miles northeast of Palisade, <br />Colorado, and is encompassed within the following lands: <br />Township 10 South, Range 98 West, 6th P.M. <br />Sections 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 34, <br />and 35 <br />Township 11 South, Range 97 West, 6th P.M. <br />Sections 6, 7, and 18 <br />Township 11 South, Range 98 West, 6th P.M. <br />Sections 1, 2, 11, 12, 13, and 14 <br />Township 1 South, Range 2 East, Ute P.M. <br />Section 1 <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle <br />maps of Cameo and Palisade. <br />
