RE: Silica Quarry, Technical Revision Approval, Permit No. M-77361, Revision No. TR-1
Dear Mr. Lohr:
On January 8, 1998 the Division of Minerals and Geology approved the Technical Revision application
submitted to the Division on December 11, 1997, addressing the following:
Clarify acreage permitted, maximum depth of excavation, and method of highwall reduction.
The terms of the Technical Revision No. 1 approved by the Division are hereby incorporated into Permit
No. M-77-361. All other conditions and requirements of Permit No. M-77-361 remain in full force and
effect.
The total liability amount of $223,700.00 for the Silica Quarry, exceeds the existing $21,000 financial
warranty. If you have not already done so, please submit additional bond in the amount of $202,700.00.
The revision will not be final until the bond is approved by the Division.
