PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Denver Water has filed an amendment to and application for a <br />Reclamation Permit with the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board <br />under the provisions of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Act for <br />the extraction of construction materials. The proposed mine is known <br />as the Reclamation Pit No. 1 (also known as the Hazeltine Pit) and is <br />located in parts of Sections 3 and 4, Township 2 South, Range 67 <br />West, 6th Principal Meridian, Adams County, Colorado. <br />The mining commenced in 1977 and the proposed date of completion <br />is July 2008.
