As has been discussed in previous
correspondence, Trapper is working with the Division of Water Resources to a0ow the GD-1 weB to func-
tion as a backup weB in the event the new well (GD-1(2)) fails. I will forward you copies of the approved
backup well permit when it is issued by the Division of Water Resources. In the event the backup well
permit is denied, Trapper will abandon this domestic water weB in accordance with appropriate Colorado
regulations and Trapper's approved mining and reclamation permit and a report submitted to the Division.
In Trapper's 1(9/92 correspondence to CMLRD, it was stated that water monitoring frequenry and param-
eter sampling would be conducted at the GD-1 weB. This is incorrect as future monitoring will be conducted
at the GD-1 (2) weB only.
Kent, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.
Ic~M{.hRD~MAtzttl
Enclosure
c w/o encl)
.M.
