Coors is interested in assisting with the
clean-up effort of this property. This is a one-time
effort to clean-up from past Coors Energy operations.
Coors understands that continued regular disposal of this
waste would require an amended Certificate of
Designation. Coors also understands that disposal of the
contaminated soil requires approval by the Oil and Gas
Commission, the Weld County Department of Health and the
Division. Coors asks for approval by the Division
conditional upon acceptance of the disposal plan by the
other agencies.
The amount and analysis of the soil to be disposed is
unknown until remediation has taken place. Prior to
disposal, the Division will be supplied with an estimated
amount and analysis of the soil to be disposed.
S-6 11/92
