The plan includes mechanical and chemical methods <br />of control and will be reviewed and amended as necessary on an annual basis. <br />The noxious weeds identified to be controlled are; Diffuse Knapweed, Dalmation Toadflax, <br />Musk Thistle and Canada Thistle. <br />DIFFUSE KNAPWEED Centaurea d~usa <br />April -May 2005 <br />Diffuse Knapweed covers approximately 66% of the property. Aerial application will be follow <br />up with spot treatment from the ground. <br />Tordon 22K Applied at 1 pint per acre <br />2,4-D 4# Applied at 1 quart per acre <br />September -October 2005 <br />Monitor and provide spot herbicide treatment to all infested azeas using: <br />Tordon 22K Applied at 1 pint per acre <br />2,4-D 4# Applied at 1 quart per acre <br />CANADA THISTLE Cirsium arvense and MUSK THISTLE Carduus nutans <br />Late September to early October 2005 <br />Control will be with a combination of mowing and chemical treatment with: <br />Tordon 22K Applied at 2 pints per acre + 1 quart per acre 4# 2,4-D <br />
