Long <br />Drvwon Dlredor <br />Pursuant to Title 33, Article 34, Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised <br />Statutes, the Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice that on <br />April 6, 1995, an application for renewal of a valid, existing permit to <br />conduct coal mining operations, Permit No. C-89-074, by Rimrock Coal Company, <br />c/o Landmark Reclamation, Inc., 4901 South Windermere Street, Littleton, <br />Colorado 80120, was deemed complete for the purposes of filing. All reviews <br />and comment periods as provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated <br />thereunder initiate from this day of filing. <br />The applicant proposes to continue conducting reclamation operations at the <br />Rimrock Mine, which is located approximately three miles east of Trinidad, <br />Colorado, and is described as follows: <br />N 1/2 of Section 29, Township 33 South, Range 63 West <br />of the 6th P.M., in Las Animas County. <br />The above-mentioned tract of land is shown on the USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle <br />map of Trinidad East. <br />A copy of the application is available for public inspection at the Las Animas <br />County Courthouse, 200 East First Street, Room 104, Trinidad, Colorado. <br />Written comments, objections or requests for an informal conference on the <br />application may be submitted to, and additional information obtained from, the <br />Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, <br />Colorado 80203, (303> 866-3567.
