The <br />Minerals Program has not been funded since July 1, 1981 and all st ff members <br />have received termination notices effective July 31, 1987. <br />There is a pending amendment to change the mining and reclamation Tans for <br />parcel A to allow leaving benched rock walls instead of lh:ly slop s as the <br />current permit requires. <br />The Legislature is reconvening in mid-August to consider funding f r the <br />Minerals Program.
