The
Amendment involves an expansion of the previously pemiltted mine plan azea. However, the change in
mined area will have a minimal impact on the Reclamation Plan for the subject aggregate mine facility.
A constmction Material Regulaz 112 Operation Reclamation Permit Application Package, addressing all
application package exhibits is attached including [he following:
• One completed, signed, ivory original Regular 112 Operation Reclamation Permit Application
Form;
• Four copies of the completed original Regular 112 Operation Reclamation Permit Application
Form;
• Five copies of permit form exhibits A through S and Addendum 1-Notice Requirements; and
• The amendment application fee of $1,938.00.
Exhibit D shows the amended area (Area 4) of proposed mining at the site. It should be noted that much of
the amended area is disturbed due to historic mining activities. Therefore, mining of this "expansion area"
will allow for reclamation of the area, consistent with the Reclamation Plan for the currently pemtitted
area. Exhibit F, Reclamation Plan map, demonstrates reclamation details. It should be noted that the
present permit designates the primary future (post-mining) land use as rangeland (RL) and this present
amendment is changing the primary future land use to general agriculture (GA).
Please contact me if you have any questions or comments.
Sincerely,
STEFFEN ROBERTSON AND KIRSTEN (U.S.) INC.
Gregory W.
