<br />Pursuant to Title 34, Article 35, Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised
<br />Statutes, the Mined Land Reclamation Division hereby issues notice that on
<br />February 08, 1991, a technical revision application fora permit to conduct
<br />coal mining operations, File No. C-81-038 (TR - 12), by Cyprus Orchard Valley
<br />Coal Co., P,0. Box 1299, Paonia, CO 81428, was deemed complete for the
<br />purposes of filing. All reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act
<br />and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this day of filing.
<br />The technical revision proposes to eliminate coal extraction under BLM
<br />renewable resource lands, changes the estimated limit of mining and five year
<br />recover area boundaries and reorients mine Danels in various parts of the mine.
<br />The applicant proposes to revise underground coal mining operations on
<br />portions of Sections 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 22, 23, 24, Township 13 South,
<br />Range 92 West and Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 17, 18, Township 13 South, Range 91
<br />West, all west of the 6th P.M.
<br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Ouadrangle map
<br />of Grey Reservoir. A copy of the technical revision application is available
<br />for public inspection at the Delta County Courthouse, 5th & Palmer, Delta,
<br />CO. Written comments may be submitted and additional information may be
<br />obtained from the Mined Land Reclamation Division, Room 215, 1313 Sherman
<br />Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, (3031 866-3567.
