<br />Energy Fuels Mining Company (EFMC), One Tabor Center, Suite 2500, 1200 17th Street, Denver,
<br />Colorado, hu filed an application for revision of approved mining and reclamation plans for the Raton
<br />Creek Mine. The approved Office of Mined Land Reclamation (OMLR) permit, Permit No. C-82-055,
<br />addresses existing underground coal mining and related surface operations and reclamation attivities. The
<br />proposed revision, Technical Revision No. 13 (TR-13), addresses drainage design revisions developed in
<br />response to concerns identified by OMLR in recen[ site inspections.
<br />Areu to be effetted by the proposed plan revision are located in Las Animu Cotmty. The Raton Creek
<br />Mine area is looted approximately three miles south of Trinidad, Colorado, off Interstate 25. The mine
<br />area is bounded on the west by Interstate 25 and lies in the Starkville Gulch drainage. The Santa Fe and
<br />Burlington Northern loadouts are located in the Trinidad railroad yards.
