SLIB URBAN SAND AND GRAVEL, CO. •
TECHNICAL REVISION - PERMIT # M-79-7 95
DECEMBER 6, 1 999
PAGE 2
1985 letter from Adams County showing the batch plant is an
approved use.
TECHNICAL REVISION #2
Under the current plan the area along Brighton Road was to
be revegetated. We will change that so the parking and entry way
areas around the building will be graveled (cross hatched area).
The rest of the area will be revegetated as currently approved.
Leaving the driveway and areas around the buildings as gravel
drives will facilitate later use of the site when reclamation
ends.
TECHNICAL REVISION #3
As part of the Denver Water Board purchase we are required
to maximize the lake area during mining. In the permit we are to
build a peninsula and create cove on the east side of the lake
area. This change is necessary so the area will conform to
Denvers' wishes and will not decrease the lake area per the
agreement. The attached revised Reclamation Plan Map shows the
minor changes we plan to make in this area. We will not mine the
cove into the 10 ac parcel retained by Suburban so the lake is
entirely on Denver Water Board land. This reduces the mount of
reclamation necessary in this corner, by removing approximately
700 feet of shoreline and construction of the peninsula from the
plan. This is consistent with how the site looks now.
A check
Revision fee.
(303) 422- or
7297.
for $150.00 is attached to cover the Technical
if you have any questions please call myself at
Steve O'Brian of Environment, Inc., at (303) 423-
Respectfully submitted,
i
Dean H.
