Bond
11) WFU did not submit a bond calculation with this TR. The
Division has projected reclamation costs to be $307,525.
Bond calculations are attached. WFU should indicate
whether they agree with the Division's estimate. If so,
the bond estimate should be included in the permit. If
not, questions should be directed to the Division.
General
12) WFU should specify the topsoil replacement depth for the
RP-SA pond.
13) Please indicate whether Refuse Pile 5A will be used
simultaneously with Refuse Pile 4.
14) WFU should specify how the refuse will be spread on the
refuse piles and what measures will be taken to avoid
long term stockpiling of the refuse before it is spread.
15) Please indicate whether the RP-5A pond will be expanded
when Refuse Pile 5B is built or if 5B will drain to a
separate pond.
16) WFU should provide calculations to show whether there
will be enough topsoil and subsoil salvaged to provide
four feet of cover over the refuse pile during
reclamation. The calculations should account for clay
removed from the subsoil to line the pond.
If you have any questions regarding this correspondence, please
call me (303) 866-3567 X353.
Sincerely,
~. ~~
Barbara L.
