The purpose of this request is to update the old map and show locations for the Access
Road, Haul Road, Topsoil and Overburden Stockpiles. Overall, the amount of Affected Acres does
not change from the current amount of 26.0 acres and remains within the original Permit Boundary.
Colorado Lien also seeks permission to reroute a portion of the Access Road 'rF necessary. The new
portion of the road would eliminate the need to cross land which is not within the permit area.
Rerouting the road would also remove some worries expressed by the adjacent landowner
concerning his livestock. ff the Aooess Road is rerouted, Colorado Lien Company proposes a delay
in the mining of Area B6 or Area A until area affected by the abandoned portion of the Access Road
is recaimed. At all times the total affected acres would rTM exceed 26.0 acres. ff you have any
questions or comments, please call me at (970) 493-7078.
