Dear Mr. Settle:
DMG has reviewed your response to DMG's preliminary adequacy review of your application for an
Amendment to Permit No. M-1979-089 for the 23 Road Pit. The application cannot be approved until
these remaining adequacy issues are addressed. Please submit a response to the following issues as
soon as possible, but no later than June 27, 2002 so the decision due date set for June 28, 2002 can
be met. If you cannot respond by June 27, 2002, please submit a written request for extension of the
