Catlany <br />Frederick <br />CO 80516 Division Director <br />, Natural Resource Trustee <br />Re: Dnrham Sand & Gravel Pit, Technical Revision Approval, Permit No. M-1978-056, Revision No. TR-1 <br />Class: Revision <br />Dear Mr. Varna: <br />Type-Seq.: TR-1 <br />On March 16, 2005 the Division of Minerals and Geology approved the Technical Revision application submitted to the <br />Division on March 10, 2005, addressing the following: <br />Interim Flood Control Measures (475 foot spillway notch in existing flood control berm). <br />The temis of the Technical Revision No. 1 approved by the Division are hereby incorporated into Permit No. M-1978- <br />056. All other conditions and requirements of Pernrit No. M-1978-056 remain in full force and effect. As you may <br />know, the purpose of the interim flood control measwe is to eliminate the potential for adverse flooding effects during a <br />100-yeaz flood event on a permanent man-made stluctllre owned by Bliss Produce Company on the north side of the <br />Poudre River. The interim flood control measure is to remain in place and be maintained until such fime that a permanent <br />solution to the configllrafion of the existing flood control berm is reviewed and approved by the Division as well as other <br />appropriate regulatory agencies.
