<br />Notice of Proposed Decision <br />The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology has issued a proposed decision to approve Bond <br />release Application No.2 (SL-2) for the Hayden Gulch Mine, Permit No. C-80-003. The mine is <br />operated by Hayden Gulch Coal Company under the provisions of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining <br />Reclamation Act of 1979. The bond release application was submitted by Hayden Gulch Coal <br />Company on July 5, 1996. The bond release is for the removal of structure and for backfilling and <br />grading operations on the 49 acres of the mine site which are located on the west side of County <br />Road 53. The affected area is located in Routt County, approximately 9 miles S of Hayden, <br />Colorado. <br />Copies of the proposed decisions are available for review at the Colorado Division of Minerals and <br />geology office, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203, and at the office of the <br />Routt County Clerk and Recorder. <br />Any person who has an interest which is or may be adversely affected may request an adjudicatory <br />hearing regarding this proposed decision. Requests for a hearing must be made in writing within <br />thirty (30) days of the first publication of this notice, and shall state with reasonable specificity the <br />reasons for the request and objections to the proposed decision. <br />
