A copy of
a letter to the operator was also enclosed. The letter expressed
a concern that there were some significant discrepancies between
the sediment volumes estimated by CDMG and those estimated by the
operator for two of the ponds, even though both estimates fell well
below the sediment standards for the ponds.
The operator subsequently reviewed his calculations and discovered
that, for Rienau #2 Ponds A and B, he had omitted the zero-depth
contour, and that skewed the sediment accumulation estimates for
these ponds. Copies of the revised maps for the Rienau #2 ponds
are enclosed. The revised maps show the correct sediment
accumulation estimates.
If you have any questions, please call me or Larry Routten at
(303) 866-3567 X353.
Sincerely,
r,
> ~
~~ w~~
Barbara L.
