Long <br />Drvis~on Direcor <br />Pursuant to Title 34, Article 33, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, the <br />Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice that on April 4, 1995, a <br />technical revision application for a permit to conduct coal mining operations <br />by MINREC, Inc., 2768 Compass Drive, Grand Junction, CO 81506, was deemed <br />complete for the purposes of filing. All reviews and comment periods as <br />provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this <br />day of filing. <br />The applicant proposes to revise underground coal mining operations at the Red <br />Canyon Mine. The technical revision addresses refuse upper diversion redesign. <br />The Red Canyon MIne is located five miles northwest of Cedaredge, Colorado, in <br />Sections 2, 11, 12, 13, and 14; Township 13 South, Range 95 West of the 6th <br />Prime Meridian. These tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle <br />map of Cedaredge, Colorado. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public inspec- <br />tion at the Delta County Courthouse, 5th and Palmer, Delta, Colorado.
