This letter is intended to
satisfy the conditions made by the Division for final acceptance of the completion of SR-002 and
of the Eagle Park Reservoir redamafion project.
In the Division's letter dated August 26, 1998, three conditions were outlined for sampling,
reporting, and analysis of data and for final debris removal activities around the reservoir. The
first two conditions discussed monitoring and reporting of water quality in the reservoir and in the
waters of the East Fork of the Eagle River during three years of initial water delivery. These data
along with the requested analyses are attached in the report entitled "Eagle Paris Reservoir
Surtace Water Quality and Antidegradation Analysis, Eagle County, Colorado." The third
condition, concerning the disposition of inert debris located at the east end of Eagle Park
Reservoir, was completed and documented in your inspection report dated September 17, 1998.
A second letter attachment considers slope stability monitoring for the south slope of Eagle Park
Reservoir. Conditions pertaining to the collection and reporting of this information are ou8ined in
your January 9, 1998 letter responding to a final analytical summary for Eagle Park Reservoir.
It is my understanding that the information contained in this submittal meets all conditions set
forth in the correspondence between Climax and the Division related to Eagle Park Reservoir and
SR-002. 1 trust that you will find this information aligned with the expectations many of us held for
this award-winning reGamation project.
Thank you in advance for your review and acceptance of this submittal.
