Lochhead <br />Mansfield TX 76063 Executive Dvecmr <br /> Michael8 Long <br />Divivon Director <br />Re: Pre-hearing Conference and Board Meeting, Snowstorm Placer, Iv[-83-084 <br />Dear Mrs. Murray: <br />The Division has scheduled apre-hearing conference, pursuant to the requirements of Rule 2.7, since the <br />Division received timely written objections to the Snowstorm Placer amendment application. <br />The hearing is scheduled for 10:00 AM, November 12, 1998 at the Colorado State University <br />Cooperative Extension building at 880 Bogue street (County Fairgrounds), Fairplay, Colorado. The <br />phone number is 719-836-4289. <br />Mr. William T. Cohan, Mined Land Reclamation Board member, will chair the hearing. Mr. Cohan will <br />cause to be proposed a drafr Board order which will include: a) a list of the parties' names, addresses <br />and phone numbers, b) a list of the issues to be discussed at the Board hearing, c) an outline of the <br />agenda for the Board hearing and allowed times for presentations, cross-examination by parties and <br />closing statements, d) a list of each parties' witnesses and e) a list of each parties' exhibits or documents <br />to be used as evidence. <br />The Division scheduled this item for the November 18-19, 1998 Board meeting. If you will call the <br />Division on November 16, 1998 you will be notified which day to appear before the Board. The hearing <br />starts at 9:00 AM each day. This item will be heard sometime thereafter. <br />You are one of four remaining objectors. Nine of the thirteen objectors withdrew their objections soon <br />after the Informal conference was held. If you decide to withdraw your objection, you can either submit <br />a withdrawal letter or you can sign and return this letter. If withdrawal letters are received from all of <br />the remaining objectors, the Division will cancel the pre-hearing conference and the Board hearing.
