'. ITED STATER 8OIL DELTA FIELD OFFICE
• " PARTMENT OF CONSERVATION 690 INDUSTRIAL BLVD.
r..~RICULTURE SERVICE DELTA, CO 81416
iiONE # (303) 874-5735
FILE CODE: DATE: 1-10-94
SUBJECT: Reclamation Permit Application
T0: Katie Benson/Benson Bros. Truck & Equip.
Attached is the information you requested for your Regular Operation
Reclamation Permit application.
i
Almost all the soil on the site is Utaline-Torriorthents complex (map
unit 80). A very small amount of the soil on the east edge of the
site is map unit 10-Avalon sandy loam. Please refer to the soil map
and soil descriptions.
The vegetation map shows the location, kind and amount of plants found
on your site. This inventory covered an area of approximately 28
acres.
Since your proposed reclamation is commercial, I do not see the need
• for revegetation of the site. I enclosed some recommendations for
seeding should you end up with a few spots that need some plant cover.
Please refer to the Critical Area Planting (342) and Mulching (484)
specifications along with the CO-ECS-5 (grass seeding) form.
Please contact me should you have any questions.
' cerely,
1 ~,
Paul Obert ~-
wildlife Biologist
cc: Delta Soil Conservation District
•
