MANAGEMENT
JUN 2 2 2pp~ a
Inx~ I
On behalf of Lodestar Energy, Inc., enclosed is an application for a minor revision to allow
refuse to be hauled from the Loma Loadout and McClane Canyon Mine to one of
Powderhorn Coal Company's active refuse piles. The initial shipment (=3,000 tons) will
come from the Loma Loadout. Additional amounts may be shipped at a later date from
the McClane Canyon Mine, if necessary, and if PCC's refuse piles are still active.
Cleanup at the Loma Loadout is long overdue and PCC's active refuse piles are an ideal
disposal site for the coal waste from the loadout. Additionally, Lodestar will be able to
delay construction of its proposed refuse pile in Munger canyon.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
~fc~~~ `v
" J.
