NOTICE OF PERMIT REVISION
To whom it may concern:
The Pittsburg & Midway Coal Mining Co.,
P.O. Box 176, Oak Creek, Colorado, 80467,
has filed with the Colorado Division of
Minerals and Geology a Technical Revision of
Permit # C-80-001 to eliminate check dams 22
and 23 from the West Ridge Hydrologic
Reconstruction Plan. The Edna Mine is located
4 miles northwest of Oak Creek, Colorado.
The USGS 7.5 minute quadrangle maps Oak
Creek, Colorado, Cow Creek, Colorado, and
Rattlesnake, Colorado all west of 6th P.M.,
contain the permit area to be affected by this
permit revision. Landowners within the
permitted area are: The United States of
America; the Maneotis Sheep Company; Mr.
Frederick Green Hceptner; Mr. Thomas Kemp;
and Arlan K. and Robert J. Peckham. A
complete copy of the revision application is
available for public inspection at the Routt
County Courthouse, Steamboat Springs,
Colorado. Written comments and/or objections
should be directed to the Colorado Division of
