It allowed
construction of a concrete wall water trap in front of the No. 5 Mine portals.
This structure has not been constructed to date. In a letter dated March 25, 1985
Empire Energy Corporation requested to withdraw the approval for this activity so
that the associated bond (53,600.00) could be applied to the existing bond
calculation. This credit amount was necessary to allow Empire's new bond rider
(submittal letter dated February 20, 1985) to adequately cover bonding requirement
If future plans include construction of a water trap at the No. 5 Mine portals,
Empire will again have to go through the approval process and submit an appropriate
bond.
(1/83)
Doc.
