The permit area is located in Sections 3, 4, 5, 3, 9 and 10 of T14S, R90W' and Sections 31, 32. <br />33, :i4 and 35 of T13S, R90W'. <br />-!'o he classified as Prime Farmland in Colorado, the property must have an adequate and dependable <br />water supply for irrigation, a favorable temperature and gmwine season and soils that meet the <br />rcyuiremcnts for Yrime Farmland. Given the permit area exists in the Gumtison National Pot'ist and <br />the Grand Aiesa-West Elk ,oil survey area, vtre camrot verify the soil types. We do not mainktin the <br />soil survey information on National Forest or areas outside of Delta County. Soi] information could <br />be obtained from soil scientist Terry Hughes N~ith the U.S. Forest Service. He can be contacted at <br />970-8?4-6600. However, since no impaled land exists on National Forest, the permit area within tho <br />NatiwTal Forest would not qualify as Prune Faznlland.
