Dudash,Joe
From: Walker, Byron
Sent: Thursday, August 19, 2004 9:02 AM
To: Dudash,Joe
Cc: Hernandez, Dan; Brown, Sandy
Subject: TR-35, C-1996-083, B-Seam Mine Plan
Joe, this a-mail is in response to your memo of August 13, 2004, Re: Bowie No. 2 Mine, Permit No. C-1996-083, Bowie
Resources Ltd. Technical Revision No. 35, B Seam Mine Plan, Adequacy Review.
Items reviewed were the J. E. Stover & Associates letter of August 6, 2004; a D & B-Seam Subsidence map, 8/6/04; Map
27, Subsidence, 08-04-04; Map 27-B, Subsidence Monitoring, OS-06-04; Map 14-B, Mine Plan (B-Seam), 08/05/04; Map
27, Subsidence, 11-11-03;, map 27-b, Subsidence Monitoring, 07/22103; Map 14-B, Mine Plan (B-Seam), 7/15/03; and
Map 14, Mine Plan (D-Seam), 07117103.
I believe the application is adequate. The additional development work to the southwest (WB1 Headgate) should not, as is
depicted on the revised maps, extend the effects of longwall mining -induced subsidence.
All materials are returned to you. Please see me if you have any questions. Byron
