There is no <br />surrounding ground that is higher than the permitted excavation area. All precipitation falling <br />into the excavation areas will be discharged from [he pit through the proposed drainage locations. <br />These are located at the top of existing drainages to carry the water out of the pit and not <br />impound stormwaters. <br />The additional excavation area equals approximately 54.22 acres. The attached sheet is an <br />AutoCAD plot of the additional azea. The inside line is the previous limit of mining, while the <br />outside line is the proposes limit of mining. Where there is only one line, those are the areas <br />restricted by [he required 500 foot setback from the pernri[ boundary.
