~~~ ~ ~ssw~ <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Mr. Nick Gray; whose address and telephone number is: 584 65.30 Rd. Montrose, CO. 81401, (970) 249- <br />9436, has filed an application for a Reclamation Permit with the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board <br />under provisions of the Colorado Land Reclamation Act for the Extraction of Constmction Materials. The <br />mine is known as [he Gray Pit # 2 and is located at the NW 1/4, N W '/+, Section 36, Township 49 N., Range <br />8 W., of the New Mexico Principal Meridian, Montrose County, Colorado on a 41.60 acre site. The <br />proposed date of completion is September, 2054. The proposed future use of the land is for rangeland. <br />Additional information and the tentative and final decision date maybe obtained from the Division of <br />Minerals and Geology, 13 [3 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado, 80203, (303} 866-3567, or at <br />the Montrose County Clerk and Recorders office, 320 S. 1 s[ Street, Montrose, Colorado, 81402, or the <br />above named applicant. A complete copy of the application is available at the above named County Clerk <br />and Recorder's office and at the Division's office, <br />This notice is being re-published as required due to clerical errors in the delivery and receipt of the <br />original Financial Warranty, Performance Warranty and Reclamation Bond Documents to the <br />Division in September 2005. The original documents were lost in transit, could not be tracked and <br />were not recorded as being received by the Division. Replacement Warranty Documents and the <br />Reclamation Bond were issued on October 31, 2006 to replace the lost original documents and bond. <br />Comments concerning the application and exhibits must be in writing and must be received by the Division <br />of Minerals and Geology by 4:00 p.m. on a date specified as 20 days following the day/date of the last and <br />final publication of the Public Notice in a local publication as provided for in Subparagraphs 1.6.2(I)(d) <br />and 1.6.3(3). "In the case of a 112 Reclamation Permit Application, such written comments, protests, and <br />petitions for a hearing must be received by the Office not more than twenty (20) calendar after the last date <br />for the newspaper publication of notice of application." <br />Publication in The Montrose Dail Pv ress: November 3`d, 10'", 17th and 24`", 2006 <br />
