Evans, Reclamation Specialist <br />Pursuant to the requirement of the Colorado Mined Reclamation Act• <br />to inform counties and certain municipalities of Development and Extraction <br />(i.e. mining) Permit applications filed with this office, please know that <br />Homestake A9ining Company has filed an <br />application for a Permit to permit amendment to enlarge their permited <br />mining operation, <br />at the following Iega1 description: Sections 35 and 36, T42[J, R1W, <br />and Sections 1 and 2, T41N, R1tJ, N.[J.P.T1. <br />The applicant proposes to reclaim the site for sand and gravel .The <br />deadline for persons to file statements regarding this operation, or to <br />petition for a hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board to consider <br />the granting of a Permit is set by law; for information please call this <br />office. <br />Prior to Board approval the applicant's proposed mining and reclamation <br />plans must be in conformance with Local zoning ordinances, subdivision <br />regulations, or master plan. Pursuant to Sections 39-32-109(6) and <br />34-32-115 (e) of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Act, C.R.S. 34-32-I 01 <br />et sect., please inform the Mined Land Reclamation Division as to the status <br />of the above captioned site with regard to conformance with your local <br />zoning laws.
