(CBCI) has concluded its Phase I reclamation activities scheduled~F~ ~~ <br />the summer of 1999, as confirmed during your on site inspection of Monday, July 12, 1999. <br />• Internal recontouring of the West Tailing Impoundment and placement of a 6-inch colluvial <br />(seedbed) cover; <br />• Installation of a drainage pipeline and outlet to facilitate internal drainage of the West <br />Tailing Impoundment; <br />• Recontouring of the East Tailing Impoundment and placement of a 6-inch colluvial <br />(seedbed) cover; <br />• Installation of a locking portal door at the 14-level adit; and, <br />• Removal of certain portal area structures and foundation materials. <br />All activities (with the exception of the portal area activities) were confined to areas north of <br />Canyon Creek, consistent with the Phase I reclamation activities addressed in Technical Revision <br />No. 1 dated January 25, 199!3. Additional reclamation (Phase II) is planned for the summer of <br />2000 such that final site reclaration will be concluded by the end of the next field season. <br />The completed activities represent a total of $47,957.00 in bonded reclamation activities per the <br />Division's bond recalculation of December 15, 1998, and CBCI respectfully requests release of <br />that amount consistent with Section 4.16 of the Hard Rock and Metal Mining Rules and <br />Regulations (May 1997, as amended). <br />Please be advised that for all areas affected by this reclamation activity and/or associated bond <br />release, Camp Bird Colorado. Inc, and/or its assigns is the owner of record. Ouray County is <br />concurrently being notified of this bond release request via certified mail copy. <br />
