As I had said during that conversation, the Division has a
regulatory requirement to process and analyze the technical revisions that have been submitted
by Bowie Resources. The Division can not defer review of these revisions because the Bureau of
Land Ivlanagement is working cn their Environmental Impact Statement.
Also, as I had stated, the Division can not answer questions that have been posed to another
agency's regulations. If you wish to submit comments or questions to this Division, please refer
to issues specific to our regulations. The Division is reviewing the revisions and will have
adequacy questions for Bowie Resources to respond to.
If you have any questions, please calf me.
Sincerely,
r_ ,~,,;?
seph J. udash
Environmental Protection Specialist
c:\wp6l\bowie2\tr63c7rd 1
