<br />MINE OPERATION WATER USE <br />At peak production in the initial permit term, the estimated breakdown of <br />water use is: <br />1. Bathhouse Facility - sanitary use, showers, drinking <br />- 40 gallons/man/day x 150 men = 6,000 gals/day <br />2. Surface Site Dust Suppression - roads, truck loading, <br />rotary breaker = 16,000 " <br />3. Underground Dust Suppression - <br />Miners: 3 miner units x 2 shifts/day x 110 minutes cutting <br />time/shift x 18 gallons/minute = 11,880 " <br />Belt Tailpieces & Transfer Points: 8 locations x 3 shifts/day <br />x 360 minutes use/shift x 1.0 gallons/minute = 8,640 " <br />4. Coal Preparation Facility (closed system) <br />77,480 gallons/day 77,480 " <br />TOTAL 120,000 gals/day <br />All of the above water will he supplied from a 4 inch diameter pipeline <br />from the City of Trinidad water supply. <br />D.
