<br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />On December 16, 1993 there will be a formal public hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation <br />Board (the Board), concerning the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology's (the Division) <br />proposal to increase the reclamation bond for the O.C. Mine No. 2. This meeting is a continuation <br />of the September meeting. The Board meeting will be held in Denver at the address below. The <br />Division has proposed increasing the reclamation bond for the O.C. Mine No. 2 (permit No. <br />C-80-002) from the current $36,000 to $46,482. The O.C. Mine No. 2 is a coal mine located 16 <br />miles north of the town of Gunnison and is approximately 2.6 miles east of Baldwin. More <br />specifically, the permit area is in the S 1/2 of lots 1 and 2, which said lots are coextensive with the SE <br />1/4 of NEl/4 and the SW 1/4 of the NE I/4 of Section 16, Township 15 South, Range 86 West, 6th <br />P.M. This area is 80 acres in size.
