EASTSIDE COAL COMPANY, INC. <br />P.O. Box 161 <br />Silt, Colorado 81652 <br />(303)876-2944 <br />has filed a technical revision with the Colorado Division of <br />Minerals and Geology to reduce subsidence monitoring at the <br />Eastside Mine, Section 24 T55, R92W, and Section 19, T55, R91W, 6th <br />P.M., Garfield County, Colorado. The Silt Quadrangle of the <br />Geological Survey, 7.5 minute series contains the area described <br />above. <br />The proposed revision would reduce the subsidence monitoring <br />frequency from quarterly monitoring to semi-annual monitoring <br />during developmental work. Once the developmental work is <br />completed, Eastside Coal will resume quarterly subsidence <br />monitoring. No residences or structures are located over the mine <br />workings or nearby the mine; no residences or structures will be <br />affected by subsidence. <br />A copy of the revision is available for public inspection at the <br />Garfield County Courthouse, Glenwood Springs, Colorado and Colorado <br />Division of Minerals and Geology, Denver, Colorado.
