PERMIT NC-81-018. <br />Dear Mr. Mathews: <br />Pursuant to several conversations, I have revised certain pennit pages to clarity issues related to <br />various roads in the mine permit area. Please note the following: <br />1. The federal dtations in the permit have been replaced by Slate Rule stations where <br />appropriate. <br />2. The refuse haul road between the County Rd 65 and the refuse areas will be fully <br />reclaimed since the County has constructed County Rd 78 to replace this road. <br />Language to this regard is included on page IV-20. <br />3. Section IV.H.3 sarifies different types of road within the mine permit boundary. Apart <br />of the railroad access road does not comply with the alignment criteria of Rule <br />y ,, ~`'~ 4.03.2(2)(a). However, it meets the alternate design criteria of Rule 4.03.2(i)(e). ~ <br />Language in this regard is also incuded on page IV-36. T, u 3. ~ `!~`G~ <br />4. The county Rd 65 is a public road maintained by Rio Blanco County. WFU is not <br />reponsible for redaiming this road. Language in this regard has been added in Section <br />IV.H.3 (page IV-36). <br />Three copies of the following revised pages are included for your files: IV-18 to IV-21 and pages IV- <br />35 to IV-37.
