As previously discussed in Section 2.06.8, Surface Coal Mining and Reclamation on Areas or <br />Adjacent to Areas Including Alluvial Valley Floors, there are two (2) alluvial valley floor <br />deposits within the Empire Energy pemut boundaries. These are: <br />Yampa River Alluvial Valley Floor (Big Bottom) <br />Williams Fork River Alluvial Valley Floor <br />Yampa River Alluvial Valley Floor wig Botto <br />There will be full extraction mining during the first five (5) years of the proposed mine plan <br />sequence under the Big Bottom area. Please refer to Section 2.05.3, Operation Plan -Permit <br />Area, for mine plan details. The only surface facilities which will cause disturbance in the Big <br />Bottom area will be associated with the ground water monitoring wells or mine development <br />drill holes. The surface disturbance associated with the ground water monitoring wells and <br />development holes will be insignificant relative to the lazge aerial extent of the Big Bottom area. <br />Williams Fork River Alluvial Valle,, F <br />There will be no full extraction mining during the 5rst five (5) years of the proposed mine under <br />the Williams Fork River alluvial valley floor. Please refer to Section 2.05.3, Operation Plan - <br />Permit Area, for mine plan details. All surface facilities located on the Williams Fork River <br />alluvial valley floor in association with the No. 5 and No. 6 mines will be reclaimed. The aze <br />will be reclaimed to flood irrigate hayfields.
