Worthing Pit (Permit No. M-1977-526) (CHS #31725) <br />Deaz Mr. Keffelew: <br /> <br />Thank you for your correspondence dated April 18, 2006 (received by our office on Apri120) concerning <br />the project listed above. <br />A seazch of the Colorado Cultural Resource Inventory indicated that no stuveys for cultural resources have <br />been conducted in the proposed permit area and no cultural resource sites are known to be located within the <br />proposed permit area. However, our files contain incomplete information for this azea, as most of Colorado <br />has not yet been inventoried for cultural resources. There is the possibility that as yet unidentified cultural <br />resources exist within the permit azea. <br />Should human remains be discovered during mining activities, the requirements under State law CRS 24-80 <br />part 13 apply and must be followed. <br />Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
