d.) The design and demonstration for sediment control of the active azea of the Halandras
Landfill are attached.
e.) The sediment controls for the Transfer Stations will be reviewed and appropriate
modifications made as part of the next submittal.
£) Appropriate modifications to Map 147 will be included in the next submittal.
g.) Settleable solids limitations demonstrations -Illustration 44:
^ B vent shaft, RS shafts, Rock Dust Shafrs -These `shaft' site azeas conform to
the SAE demonstrations as shown in Illustration 44 - "Typical Degasitication
Borehole Pads" to control sediment. The title page to [his demonstration has been
amended to specifically identify these locations as being covered by this
demonstration.
^ Sediment control for the staging/laydown area immediately west of Slot Storage
is controlled by sediment pond SS-2. Calculations for this pond are provided in
Illustration 39 (referred to as Pond 1).
• Settleable solids demonstrations for other staging/laydown areas northwest of
Transfer Station #1 and between the railroad loop and slot storage are attached for
inclusion in Illustration 44. Similaz demonstrations for the staging/laydown
within the railroad loop, northeast of Slot Storage, and at the County Road
65/haul road intersection will be addressed in the next submittal.
Other issues
a.) Remove Illustration 11 -County Road Scullion Gulch Culvert Design Calculations. This
is not part of our mining pennit and should be removed.
b.) Remove Illustration 12 -Ventilation Entry Area Ditch and Culvert Design Calculations.
More current information is contained in Illustration 44.
c.} Remove Illustration 28 -Drainage Control/Station 7+43/County Road 65. More current information is contained in Illustration 44.
e.) Railroad Loop Maintenance Access Road culvert -Map 112 has been modified to show
an 8" CMP where this road crosses a drainage. SedCad culvert sizing calculations are
enclosed to support this design.
£) A SAE demonstration is being provided which specifically addresses the topsoil stockpile
northwest of Slot Storage.
