Cooley Gravel Division <br />Distel Farm Resource Sand & Gravel Mine <br />Dear Ms. Cloutier: <br />Thf~`offi.ce has reviewed your correspondence of February 25, 1998 <br />concernir.~g the expansion of the above proposed gravel mine. <br />Based on the map you submitted we have determined that the <br />Sandstone Ranch, SWL712, is within the area of potential effect for <br />this mining operation. This ranch is listed on the National and <br />State Register of Historic Places. See the enclosed map showing <br />the boundaries of this site. The Division of Minerals and Geology <br />will need to determine the effect the Distel project will have on <br />this historic resource. <br />Thank you for the opportunity to comment on this project.
