EASTSIDE COAL COMPANY, INC <br />PO BOX 701007 <br />SAN ANTONIO, TX 78247 <br />has filed for a technical revision to an existing permit, (C-84-063), with the Colorado <br />Division of Minerals and Geology to conduct reclamation activities only in Section 24, <br />TSS, R92W of the 6~' Prime Meridian, Ga~eld County, Colorado. <br />The underground mine is located approximately 3.75 miles north of Silt, Colorado. <br />Access to the site is via Garfield County Road 237 (Harvey Gap Road). The existing <br />disturbed area is approximately 1500 feet south of the Grass Valley Reservoir. The Silt <br />Quadrangle, 7.5 Series contains the area of the mine site <br />The technical revision is to address the requirements of the Division of Minerals and <br />Geology Rules and Regulations requiring a weed management plan for disturbed areas. <br />A copy of the Weed Management Plan is available for public inspection at the Garfield <br />County Courthouse, Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
