EXHIBIT E-RECLAMATION PLAN
I st -Stave:
Topsoil is stockpiled and not disturbed until miring of the amended area is complete.
Stockpiling the top 4 to 6 inches of soil is accomplished using a dozer with a blade.
Overburden if any is stockpiled separately using a dozer or dozer and scraper.
After each mining segment the overburden will be backfilled into the excavated azea
This sequence of stockpiling topsoil, overburden and clay, then backfilling with the
overburden will be repeated untIl mining of the amended area is complete.
2°d-Stave
Mining of calcine and backfilling of the overburden will result in a small, shallow
depression. Final contouring will then be done with the following goals.
1. All slopes grade to 3:1.
2. Adequate drainage established using the pre-mining drainage patterns
After contouring and grading, the topsoil will be replaced and adequate fertilizer added
for promoting plant growth. Seed will be sewn at the established rates and vazieties
previously established for this mine. Fertilizer will be disced into the topsoil and seed
drilled. Mulch will then be distributed over the seeded area.
Roads
The existing haulage road will not be reclaimed. This road is used for hauling from the
adjacent Bijou Mine and by those holding the state grazing lease.
Reclamation Treatment of Other Features
Waste rock dumps, tailing impoundments, underground openings, ditches, buildings and
other features will not be constructed and therefore no reclamation treatment will be
necessary.
HvdroloEv
Runoff from the site occurs as overland flow. The overburden backfill is of a low clay
content and will not increase runoffpotential.
