Sherman
Executive Director
Ronald W. Cattany
Division Director
Natural Resource Trustee
Item 1. Rule 2.05.3(3)(a). Please add the date of revision (MR07-222) to Map 24 Sheet 1 of 3. Suggest a pen
and ink change so as to not require re-certification.
Item 2. Rule 2.05.4(2)(b). Although the insertion instruction sheet indicated a cost estimate was provided, none
was found in the application. Please submit this estimate. The page number for this estimate is proposed as A-
139 (page A-138 reserved for the MR-220 estimate). The Division will develop a reclamation cost estimate for
this minor revision. You will be asked as [o which estimate you wish to retain before the application is
approved.
Item 3. Rule 2.05.4(2)(g) and 4.07.3. Please include [he removal of the poles, and backfilling of the drilled
holes (unless located in a disturbed area that is to be regarded), in the reclamation plan for the proposed power
poles.
Item 4. Rule 4.15.1(2)(a). Although the Division proposes to grant a waiver for the removal of topsoil under
Rule 4.06.2(2)(a)(iii), no such waiver is permitted for reseeding of disturbed areas. In addition, un-seeded
disturbed areas frequently become weed problem areas. Please revise the text on proposed page 2.05-47.1 to
include reseeding with a proposed seed mix.
The subject application was found complete on August 28, 2007. The current due date for a decision on this
application is September 2, 2007. Please request an extension to the due date for a decision on this minor revision
application so as to provide the Division with ten days after receipt of a response to this adequacy letter.
An advance copy of this letter is being provided to you by e-mail. Please contact me if you have any questions.
Yours truly,
~ ~ .i~e.~
Byrod G.
