In order to sustain
the responsibility for reclamation of the area disturbed during
the inclusive dates of the old bond the Attorney General 's office
suggests one of the following:
1 . Back-date the effective date of the new bond
to the effective date of the old bond.
2. Insert a clause in the new bond to the effect
that the reclamation of the land covered under
bond No. will be covered under the new
bond.
Perhaps it would expedite matters if the bonding company could send
an endorsement for each of the bonds with a clause outlined in 2
above.
Also the Nola Z Mine (N77-453) was amended to encompass additional
acreage so the bond was increased by $500.00 to a total of $1700.00.
Thank you for your consideration. IF you have any questions please
let us know.
Sincerely ,
Robert C. Campbe 1
Reclamation Specialist
RCC :ys
