CO 80202-5733 <br />Re: Roadside Portals (Permit No. C-1981-041) <br />Transfer of Permit No. 2 (SO-2) <br />Deaz Mr. Johnston: <br />The Division proposed to transfer the Roadside Portals coal Honing and reclamation permit, No. C-1981- <br />041 to Snowcap Coal Company, Inc. from Powderhom Coal Company on March 15, 2002. The <br />underground coal mine is located in Mesa County, approximately 5 miles north of Palisade. The coal to <br />be mined is under Federal and private ownership and the surface is under Federal and private ownership. <br />A copy of the proposed decision is enclosed. <br />In accordance with Rule 2.08.6(6), any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the <br />proposed decision may request a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within thirty <br />(30) days of this notice by the Division. <br />If you have any questions, please contact me. <br />Sincerely, <br />Dan T.
